{"id":395,"date":"2010-11-29T20:26:41","date_gmt":"2010-11-30T04:26:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/?p=395"},"modified":"2010-11-29T20:28:15","modified_gmt":"2010-11-30T04:28:15","slug":"phase-2-begin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/?p=395","title":{"rendered":"Phase 2 begin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Couple updates for 11\/29. \u00a0Took the day off work today to get the car up to the aforementioned John Coffey at his shop, <a href=\"http:\/\/betamotorsports.com\/\">Beta Motorsports<\/a> :<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/betamotorsports.com\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/betamotorsports.com\/images\/HPPhoto.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"542\" height=\"482\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIn preparation, thrashed late into the night yesterday putting the back end of the car together enough to get it rolling. \u00a0Last minute run to the auto parts store for some bearings, and together went the diff.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09338.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-396 alignnone\" title=\"DSC09338\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09338-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09338-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09338-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here it is floating out in space, just like the stock one that came out. \u00a0But notice here, the Hyperocoil composite leafs, and the once-horrendously filthy 12-bolt, now cleaned up to only moderately filthy, with fresh wheel studs.<\/p>\n<p>Car sits a &#8220;little&#8221; high on the springs &#8211; should come down a little with time as things settle, not to mention the weight of many components like the fuel tank, trunklid, back seats, etc. \u00a0Still, I worry I&#8217;m going to need to have some custom fiberglass leafs made, as the car is about 4-5&#8243; too high here and with 250lb. springs, should only come down a couple inches with the weight.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09341.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-397 alignnone\" title=\"DSC09341\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09341-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09341-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09341-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rhoadescamaro.com\/build\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/DSC09341.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This morning, went and rented a trailer. \u00a0Loading a car with no engine or brakes on a trailer sure can be fun!
